Angel Yang graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Master of Arts degree in Translation. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language and Literature from Sichuan University. These degrees complement each other well, and have provided Angel with invaluable tools for her teaching. Not only has she received academic training in Chinese language and literature, but she has also gained experience of teaching Chinese as a second language. Through her studies, she attained a deep understanding of both Chinese and English, as well as the relationship between the two languages. Angel’s approach to teaching Chinese focuses on how the power of beautiful Chinese can lead students to explore further and read more.
Language learning and teaching have always been my passions. I am very glad that as a teacher I have the opportunity to pass on my learning methods to my students and also to help them find their own way of mastering a language. I love to see my students not only savor the beauty of Chinese but also appreciate the profound culture behind it.
