Vivien graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong majoring in English with translation and education minors. She has been devoted to teaching ever since her university years, during which she worked as the Chief Programme Officer of SpeechExpress, an NGO focusing on teaching English speaking to local primary and secondary schools. She had also been involved in volunteer work, and was a volunteer mentor at Sham Shui Po Central Happy Teens Club. Upon graduation, Vivien continued her studies and obtained the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (English) at the same institution and worked at a local secondary school afterwards. She is a fluent speaker of Japanese in addition to English and Chinese. Vivien’s approach to language teaching is focused on arousing students’ sensitivity and interest towards life through literature.
