Families will be encouraged to make the most of Oxford’s beautiful scenery and historic institutions through a variety of extracurricular activities and trips.
Over the course of the programme, students will be stretched to improve their critical thinking, writing and presentation skills in a variety of English language and literature classes. Lessons will require students to engage with sophisticated texts, complete advanced writing tasks, work on research assignments and produce presentations. Students will also be expected to complete pre-sessional reading tasks. At the end of the programme, students will receive a bound portfolio to display their completed work.
Alongside academic sessions, the programme encourages students to acquire an all-round education by offering the opportunity to do sports, engage in volunteering and perform theatrical pieces. These activities will not only increase the students’ confidence, they will also give students a holistic experience of British education.
