In this writing class, I encouraged students to create vivid descriptions of a setting \u2013 so lively that readers could visualise the scene in their minds!<\/p>\n<p>Using the technique of \u201cShow, Don\u2019t Tell\u201d, students employed a variety of literary devices, such as similes, metaphors and imageries in their writing. The students were\u00a0also asked to include sensory details (sight, sound, touch, smell, taste) in their compositions.<\/p>\n<p>I am particularly impressed by this student\u2019s ability to write eloquently.
