She crafted an adorable quokka character with a unique backstory and it brings me joy to hear her say that this may be just the first book in a series.<\/p>\n<p>I believe that reading and writing are far more important than grammar for\u00a0budding students of English. While grammar is certainly a foundational skill, interest and engagement with stories and creative tasks can really ignite a student\u2019s passion for language. When students immerse themselves in reading and creative writing, they develop their voice and imagination, which ultimately fosters a deeper connection to the subject. In Elizabeth&#8217;s case I believe that creativity and a love for literature will prove to be the foundation of lifelong learning.
