{"id":22282,"date":"2026-09-22T09:18:05","date_gmt":"2026-09-22T01:18:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.i-learner.edu.hk\/?p=22282"},"modified":"2026-09-22T09:18:05","modified_gmt":"2026-09-22T01:18:05","slug":"hkdse-bootcamp-success-in-shanghai","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.i-learner.edu.hk\/zh\/2026\/09\/hkdse-bootcamp-success-in-shanghai\/","title":{"rendered":"HKDSE Bootcamp Success in Shanghai"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"qtranxs-alt\">\u6b64\u5167\u5bb9\u50c5\u63d0\u4f9b\u82f1\u6587\u7248\u672c\u3002 <\/p><div lang=\"en\"><p>The Shanghai HKDSE Bootcamp was held in early-mid July at Shanghai TICC Cunzhi High School to help prepare Shanghainese students for the DSE.<\/p>\n<p>Led by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.i-learner.edu.hk\/teachers\/gigi-cheng\/\">Ms Gigi Cheng<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.i-learner.edu.hk\/teachers\/nicol-tsang\/\">Ms Nicol Tsang<\/a>, the camp took an interactive approach designed to do more than just prepare students for examination results. By training skills across all four HKDSE papers and exploring key Hong Kong social issues to spark classroom discussion, the program worked to foster a genuine interest in the language and build practical English skills for tertiary education and the workplace.<\/p>\n<p>By the end of the course, our students achieved remarkable growth across every paper:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reading Paper: Average scores nearly tripled<\/li>\n<li>Integrated Paper: Average scores nearly doubled<\/li>\n<li>Speaking Paper: Over 30% improvement<\/li>\n<li>Writing Paper: Around 20% improvement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Beyond the numbers, we also observed a marked boost in our students&#8217; confidence when expressing themselves in English, both verbally and in writing.
