Liberty Conlon

I believe it is crucial for students to be engaged and interested in their lessons if they are to get the most out of them. I also strive to foster intellectual curiosity and critical thinking skills in my students, so that they are able to more effectively and independently solve the problems they may face in their academic work. An important part of this process is in developing their confidence, which allows them to feel comfortable sharing their own thoughts and opinions without the fear of getting something wrong.

Liberty Conlon initially started tutoring in Singapore five years ago, and has continued to do so whilst based in the UK and Dublin. She has tutored in a variety of subjects, including English Literature, Creative Writing, Latin and Ancient Greek, as well working as a teaching assistant in schools. Her undergraduate degree covered a wide range of topics including ancient history, ancient and modern philosophy, and a variety of literature in Latin and Ancient Greek. She is currently completing a Master’s Degree in Philosophy at Trinity College in Dublin, focusing mainly on German philosophy from the 19th and 20th century. In her free time enjoys practising calligraphy and playing rugby.
