Last week, I started the public speaking class with a famous speech given by Martin Luther King Jr.. After watching the video, I asked the students if they found the speech well-delivered. They all had quite different opinions and finally we came up with some tips for giving a speech. I asked them to give a two-minute speech on any topic they came across and bear in mind the tips which they had suggested. Here is what one of the students jotted down while he was preparing for his speech:

It is always interesting to teach public speaking classes because students always come across with creative ideas which are often out of your expectations. They are the contributors who keep the discussion going.
