I believe that the most important aspect of teaching is fostering an independent mindset in students. While explaining a solution is one thing, guiding a student to find the solution themselves without influencing their thought processes is another. I find maintaining that delicate balance to be both challenging and invaluable for both the student and teacher.

Martin Li graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science. He has four years of experience tutoring mathematics to students ranging from Year 3 in primary school to Year 11 in secondary school, specializing in the HKDSE Mathematics and M2 curriculum. Martin is dedicated to developing problem-solving skills and instilling a positive mindset, empowering students to learn and grow independently. When he’s not teaching, he enjoys reading and learning new languages.
