Enjoying the last days of summer
TweetYear after year, the summer months always seem to pass by in the blink of an eye. Over the past few months, students have enjoyed attending new courses, expanding their knowledge, improving their English, and of course, have had a lot of fun along the way.
Today I am sharing some work from my Tues-Thurs Critical Reading and Writing Pre-Level 6 class. We have worked hard over the term to understand literature from a deeper angle, thinking about symbolism, characterisation and figurative language. The whole class has endeavoured to produce their best work every lesson, and should be commended for achieving such good results. In particular, today’s featured piece of work displays adept use of the skills we have covered. The student has exhibited a fantastic grasp of the task at hand, a careful and considered understanding of the text we were discussing and an admirable writing style. Well done!
