Teacher Diaries: Mr. Alvin – Treasures

With a fortune to be brought up in a very caring and loving secondary school, I have received a lot of little cards that are filled with encouraging and comforting words from my teachers, and those are what I treasure very much. The words shed light on me when I felt like it was the end of the world, especially when I was preparing for the public exam.

Those cards have also inspired me to be a caring teacher, as I always remember the joy and relief when I got the support from my dear teachers. The cards remind me to pass on the love and support to the students I am having now. School work in Hong
Kong could be tough sometimes. As a teacher, besides making sure my students are on track, offering support and encouragement to them is equally important, as it enables them to enjoy their learning process.
