David Lau

I apply my patient listening and communication skills, developed through high-energy sporting environments, to create fun and productive classes. With my background in psychology, I facilitate an active learning environment that meets each learner’s needs. I believe students should build a clear understanding of concepts so they can strengthen their learning over time.
David Lau is a teacher with native fluency in English and strong Cantonese skills. Drawing on his experience as a former IB student, he is able to support learners across IB subjects and provide guidance with writing-focused components such as the EE and IA. In his free time, David also coaches Hong Kong sports club teams, using that high-energy experience to help keep classes engaging and productive for children.
